Leakage Current Analyzer

Leakage Current Analyzer provides immediate assessment of the condition of Surge Arrestors through direct display of the 3rd harmonic resistive leakage current and total leakage current in micro-ampere. The Leakage Current Analyzer system measures the resistive component of continuous leakage current in gapless Metal Oxide Surge Arresters. The LCA will also measure metal-enclosed surge arresters for Gas Insulated Substations (GIS). In this case, a capacitive GIS coupler is connected to the field probe. It is a portable instrument for inspection of surge arresters on locations with the arrester in live operation without any disturbance of power distribution for condition assessment on regular basis.
